PARTNER IN SÜDOSTASIEN

CAMKID ist eine Organisation, die künstlerische und kommunale Entwicklungsprojekte mit lokalem Bezug und in lokalen Sprachen entwerfen und umsetzen. Rachel Clarke, eine Mitbegründerin der Nicht-Für-Profit Assoziation hat das Ensemble in Schauspiel und Management unterrichtet und bei zahlreichen Produktionen als Regisseurin als Beraterin begleitet, bis es eine neue Gesetzgebung 2007 ermöglichte, das Projekt in einen gemeinnützigen Verein umzuwandeln. CAMKID hat mittlerweile landesweit Anerkennung für seine Arbeit erhalten. Sein aktuelles Projekt wird durch Oxfam Novib (Holland) unterstützt. Ihr Sitz ist im Dorf Houay Sai Noi, in der Provinz Bokeo, in Nordlaos.

PARTNER IN SOUTH-EAST ASIA

CAMKID devise and carry out artistic and community development projects based on local research using local languages. They became one of the first Not for Profit Associations of their kind to be registered under new legislation recently introduced in Laos. Rachel Clarke was a founding member and co-devised many of their theatre productions and community development projects up until 2007. CAMKID then benefitted from training and support of the Rural Research and Development Training Center and branched out into other areas of community development work. CAMKID have since then received widespread recognition for their work, and their current major project is supported by Oxfam Novib (Holland). They are based in Houay Sai Noi village, in Bokeo Province, in Northern Laos.

 


THEATERWECKER

Der Theaterwecker ist ein Agitprop-Ensemble, das sich im November 2011 aus der Occupy-Bewegung entwickelt hat. Ziel des Ensembles ist es, das Bewusstsein für aktuelle politische Themen auf globaler und lokaler Ebene zu schärfen und zum eigenen Handeln anzuregen. Rachel Clarke gehört zu den Gründungsmitgliedern und arbeitet noch heute als Autorin und Regisseurin für das Ensemble.

Theaterwecker is an agitprop theatre ensemble, which emerged from the Occupy Movement in November 2011. They make theatre to raise awareness and encourage positive action on current political issues, both global and local. Rachel Clarke was a founding member and continues to work with the ensemble, devising and directing plays.
